Situated in Busua, essentially a small fishing village on the west coast of Ghana. Not only can you surf but to experience African culture and hospitality of the people Ahanta. Busua Beach is ideal for beginners throughout the year and advanced no big waves around. The advantage is that not being a conventional surf destination no crowds.

Ahanta Waves Surf School & Camp is a project conducted by Peter Ansah, a local Busua love of surfing that decided to share their secret places with other surfers. He knows all about the waves of Ghana and is able to locate an best sites. You can live an authentic surf adventure traveling on a traditional fishing boat or through the rainforest. They offer surf lessons for beginners and intermediates and surf tours. Surfcamps can be 1 or 2 weeks and include 2 or 4 sessions of yoga respectively. In his surf camp you will experience the traditional lifestyle of a typical settlement Ghana beach. It is easy to relate to the friendly people of Busua around a bonfire on the beach to the rhythm of percussion and dance Ahanta.
