Rodiles Surf School are located on Rodiles Beach, within the Villaviciosa Estuary Natural Reserve, just twenty minutes east of Gijón. Directed by Rodi Ride surfboards, Rodilesurf offers the perfect setting to learn to surf on one of the most consistent and ideal beaches for beginners. If you've already mastered the basics, you can catch a ride on the tube of one of the best waves on the peninsula: Rodiles, a left-hand wave at the estuary's mouth often compared to Mundaka. The right side of the beach also offers great waves with both right and left peaks, making it a perfect spot for learning and practicing surfing year-round.

The Surf School has facilities on the right side of the beach where they conduct surf lessons and also at the end of the beach, near the estuary, where their SUP school is located. In the center of the beach, you'll find the Surf House, equipped with a large garden, kitchen, TV lounge, WiFi, and a terrace with a barbecue.

A pioneer in the Principality of Asturias when it comes to teaching and promoting surfing. It's directed by the renowned Asturian shaper Alvaro Fernández, the creator of Rodi Ride Surfboards and Rodiles Surf School since 1991. The surf courses at Rodiles Beach have been taught for twenty years and are conducted by Alvaro and his team of instructors, who have extensive experience in teaching the sport and are certified by the Asturian Surf Federation. As part of the Surf Club activities, students also have the opportunity to visit the surfboard manufacturing workshop.

The courses last for two hours in the morning at Rodiles Beach (Villaviciosa - Asturias) and are held in small groups. There's also the option to take intensive courses in the afternoons and on weekends.
All the necessary equipment is provided in the courses, including a board, wetsuit, rash guard, leash, and more. If availability allows, except for July and August, students who wish to continue using the equipment for the rest of the day can do so at no additional cost.

In operation since 1991, is one of the most established surfboard brands in Spain. It's led by the master shaper from Asturias, Alvaro Fernández, who has over 28 years of experience crafting boards and sharing knowledge with shapers and surfers in various parts of the world, including South America, Indonesia, Australia, Africa, Portugal, and, of course, Spain.
