Located on the island of Okinawa, in a town called Yomitán, south of Japan. Okinawa's climate is subtropical and temperatures do not usually lower 15 degrees. Okinawa is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the China Sea. This positioning allows you to collect virtually any waves. There are only 2 beach breaks of sand, the rest is reef. The coral reefs that surround the island are considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Professional surfer Danny Melhado founded this Surf Camp in 2002 after he fell in love with Japanese waves. In Happy Surfing Okinawa they offer surf classes, Stand Up Paddle and Surf Guide Services, in addition to importing and selling some of the best tables on the island. The Okinawa coast is known for its perfect and glass hollow tubes. It is ideal for surfers with a little experience. In summer and early autumn the typhons bring great swells, although winter is also a good time because the waves are more consistent. On the island there are many secret beaches that are not even found on the maps. The hostel is located in Yomitán, an area famous for ceramics, so if you need a break you can walk through the villages of ceramics and natural ovens. It has capacity for 7 people and has room and shared kitchen.
