Located on the island of Barora FA, in the province of Isabel, on the Solomon Islands. Unlike other destinations from the South Pacific, in the Solomon Islands there is hardly any tourism. This circumstance facilitates travelers to come into contact with the culture and customs of the melanletic people more easily. The best surf season in the Solomon Islands is given from November to March, when the great waves of the Pacific reach its coast. Surf is carried out in the outer reef that separates the open ocean from the inside of the lagoon and the islands. The waves vary according to the direction of waves and the predominant wind. To reach surf points, Kagata Surfing Frens has ships outside borders and local guides that have grown on the islands and has a unique knowledge of the ocean. They usually perform 2 surf excursions per day. Lulu Left and Glen right are first -class surf spots and are 10 minutes by boat. The waves have a height of 5 or 6 feet and sometimes more. Kagata Surfing Frens is 100% of local property, which allows the majority of the population to participate directly and indirectly in the business. It is not a complex but a true Solomon people. Its inhabitants add up to 20 people and most are related by family ties. The accommodation is in a comfortable 3 bedroom bungalow. They can host up to 6 people. In the Solomon Islands fishing is excellent and all food is prepared by local women based on fresh products. It has collection service at the airport. The closest center to make small purchases and with telecommunications is KIA, the largest village in the province of Isabel, where its inhabitants live in houses built on water. Other excursions are diving, fishing, visits to the villages and observation of crocodiles.
