Paradise Surf Camp is located in Tanjung Setia Headland, 30 minutes south of Krui, on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Sumatra is the fifth largest island in the world and the largest island in Indonesia. It has a wide variety of vegetation and fauna but unfortunately the deforestation that has made it lose up to 50% of its jungle has put in danger of extinction to tigers, elephants, rhinoceros and orangutans. If it is not a well -known surf destination, it will not be for its magnificent surf spots, but for being 6 hours away by car from the main airport. The southern coast of Sumatra competes with any part of Indonesia in terms of consistency and the quality of the waves. The main advantage of their isolation is that the waves are still little crowded and reaching them requires a bit of an adventure spirit. Paradise Surf Camp is next to the best known wave in the area, Krui Krui Ujung Bocur, but there are waves everywhere. Here they will give you all the necessary information about them, in addition to being able to hire a guide, rent a motorcycle or car and of course, meet other surfers with whom to share information and get out of expedition. Paradise Surf Camp's philosophy is that each one feels free to do what they want, without touches of curl or buses waiting. They have cheap, comfortable and clean bungalows. Each has a small porch with sea views. They try to make everyone feel good, as in a big family, organizing pool games and sharing some beers.
