Whether arriving at Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (HRI) or Bandaranaike International Colombo Airport (CMB), transportation options such as taxis, trains, highway buses, tuk-tuks, or scooters are available.

At Surfers Paradise Surf School Weligama surfers are invited to join the surf school, embarking on an exciting journey to master the art of surfing. The experienced instructors cater to surfers of all levels, from beginners catching their first wave to seasoned riders conquering the biggest swells.

From prioritizing safety in the water to minimizing environmental impact, the surf school takes its responsibility seriously, aiming to make a positive impact on the community and the world. The teaching approach is personalized, focusing on skill-building, fostering creativity, and encouraging self-expression within a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Surfers Paradise offers all the essentials to elevate surfing skills. Learn from highly experienced instructors at a reasonable price throughout the year. A variety of surfboards are available, catering to all levels, whether one is a beginner or an intermediate surfer. After a surf session, guests can unwind on beach sun beds, enjoy a complimentary fresh coconut, and listen to soothing music.

Private lessons tailored for individuals or groups, with one instructor designated for every three surfers.
Enhance surfing skills with instructors in the water, offering detailed feedback to maximize success.

The surf lessons span 75 minutes, with approximately 15 to 20 minutes dedicated to land-based instruction covering safety and technique. The remaining time is spent in the water, testing and maximizing skills on soft boards.

Beyond surfing, guests can partake in whale watching, temple visits, savoring authentic curry, indulging in fresh local fish and handmade coconut roti, and exploring nearby attractions like Mirissa Beach and the world-renowned Galle Fort on scooters.
